I think it needs something else on the top right but I am not sure what I want to add yet and figured I would pop it up. So my 7 days of art wasn’t as productive as I would have liked but life kind of got in the way. still I got way more done than normal and really enjoyed myself. And that is what is more important right?
Today I practiced my Tangling with color and letters. I used several tangle patterns including ocean waves, lace curtains, eddy, snood, and fins. For color, I used Copic markers and Fineliners.
Last night I got tired and decided to use up a few of my ATC supplies that related to back to school that I meant to put together for Liam’s teachers for when he went back to school but never got around to it. So I made a few for me, just for my enjoyment. Nothing fancy or perfect just fun. Here are a few that I came up with.
I have ben really enjoying myself and wanted to share the “work” (which is short for results of my playing of the last two days.
This is my second attempt at a watercolor pencil drawing adn the first of a nude. I think it came oout okay. Maybe not perfect but not bad for a beginner with no classes or real talent lol. I had a lot of fun making her and it was therapuetic making the pencil shading come to life with strokes of a brush. Very much enjoyable.
The next two were pieces of editions of ATCs that i enjoy working on every night before bed. I just find them relaxing. i am very much a beginner and they don’t come out perfect but they help me relax and let me get to sleep more easily. One is an asian theme. I have no idea what the text says so please if it is offensive yell at me. And the other is just a basic winter scene. I just enjoy putting the pieces together. These are very basic and are just basic glue and brad and adhesive type pieces. Some of my pieces are much more ornate but lately I have kept them very simple just to enjoy them. I am learning new techniques every day and hope to be able to show some of them on this blog when I do use them.
Well since my 30 Days of Truth is completed, I am going to keep using this blog to challenge myself and document those challenges. Challenges may include art, diet, exercise, deep thought, writing, cooking, experimenting, adventures, trying new things, goal setting etc. So I am going to start giving it a shot and keep up from there.
My second challenge starting sunday December 9, 2012 is going to be 7 days of art. For seven days I have to create something or work on creating something artistically every day and document it in my blog. This will keep my creative juices flowing and relieve stress even though I have several stressful appointments this week and will be preoccupied. It will be healthy for me. Projects don’t have to be finished each day but they have to be worked on and documented. Let the fun Begin.
